Danny Karnecki

Danny set up DK Garden Services in 2002 and worked single handedly creating wonderful garden spaces ensuring that customers got what they want and are always happy.

Danny has worked in the horticultural trade since 1992. After 2 weeks work experience as a nursery assistant at Riverside Nurseries Southampton, aged 16, Danny caught the gardening bug which has carried on growing!!

Trained as a horticulturist at Sparsholt College, Winchester. Danny's education covered all aspects of horticulture enabling him to explore many avenues within the trade. The course also gave him the opportunity to set up a show garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, gaining a Bronze medal along with all the other students. Danny left Sparsholt with a Distinction Grade National Diploma in Decorative Horticulure, and worked hard enough to obtain a special prize of the Basingstoke and Deane Award for Best Practical Student.

Danny later became manager at Paultons Nurseries(formerly Riverside Nurseries) in which he set up and managed 'Paultons Landscapes'.  He has also worked with Hambrooks Landscape Centre in Titchfield gaining much experience within the landscaping industry before setting up DK Garden Services.
